Off-Leash Pack Hikes
I have been a professional dog walker for many years, which teaches me endless and ongoing lessons about dogs’ group mentality, breed distinctions and socialization tendencies. I feel so fortunate to have this pack to teach me the ways of their world on a daily basis!
While training is my primary occupation, I still maintain one established pack with 5-7 medium sized, mid-aged, very well-trained pups that have been together for years and understand group play, interactive manners and expected social behaviors. We frequent various local trails and beaches, and practice trail etiquette and positive reinforcement of social manners on every hike.
I also have a smaller ‘mini-pack’ that goes out a few times a week, consisting of smaller dogs of varying ages and abilities; this hike is shorter (+-20m), more mellow, less physically challenging and specially designed for the more shy, unsure or less agile pup.

Before ANY training or care can happen, we'll need to have a Consultation:
In order to understand what kinds of service will best benefit you & your Mutt, I need to meet with you to discuss the behavioral challenges you're facing, assess how your pup behaves & observe how they react to various stimuli. We'll discuss your dog's behavior both in & out of the home, any triggers you perceive, & the body language & mannerisms we both observe. I can often provide management techniques for you to use right away, & we'll discuss ways forward in regards to appropriate training or care options that suit your lifestyle, schedule & personal preferences. A consultation normally lasts 60 minutes, but I put no time limit on the very important process of getting to know you & your Mutt.
$200: 60 minute Obedience Training Consultation & Behavioral Assessment
$250: 60-90 minute Separation Anxiety Consultation & Needs Assessment
30-45 minute Pet Care Consultation & Personal Needs Assessment
